Pilates

What is Pilates?

Pilates helps to improve flexibility, mobility, stability, balance, core strength and overall well being. By using targetted exercises which will help you to improve awareness you will begin to develop control over your body, helping to aleviate any unfavourable postural habits you may have developed. Pilates is for everybody, whatever your age or fitness level.   Pilates exercises are frequently recommended to help prevent and decrease back pain, including low back pain. They strengthen  the muscles required to support the back. (Any injuries/conditions must be disclosed to ensure an appropriate level of class/private session).
